The Social Impact Award program helps young people discover social entrepreneurship and take their first steps towards creating a social enterprise. It supports early-stage social entrepreneurs in developing and implementing innovative business solutions to address social challenges. Since 2009, they have supported young social entrepreneurs in over 25 countries.
In 2023, Consciously Good also applied and became one of the finalist teams. A total of nine teams participated in the incubation program. The ideas are diverse – such as repurposing properties in rust belt areas, creating a financial literacy app, and providing sexual education for young people – all aimed at addressing exciting and current issues.
During the workshops, mentoring, and training sessions, we examined the entrepreneurial idea from new perspectives, gained a deeper understanding of the social entrepreneurship ecosystem, received specific guidance in planning and executing concrete steps, and, ultimately, received assistance in preparing the pitch. What value does the idea hold if we cannot convey to others, in an effective and captivating manner, our intended goals and objectives?
The program isn't just about development and guidance – at the closing event, every team had the opportunity to present their idea, and the jury selected the two most promising teams, who received 1500 euros in financial support for implementing their idea. The winner of the community voting also received a 1000 euro prize.

On the evening of September 28th, nine teams arrived at the Impact Hub building with varying levels of excitement and nervousness, all determined to convince the jury that they deserved the prize the most.
